Why become a member?

Your experiences are taken seriously

Many people have seen, felt, or lived through events they cannot easily explain, and most have learned to keep them to themselves. MUPAS is a place where those experiences are not dismissed: a support and wellness service built on scientific methods and research. We start from respect, care, and careful observation. We do not tell you what happened to you. We help you keep a record of it that is worth keeping.

What membership gives you

Your own record. Write up what happened, when it happened, and set the time yourself: exact, approximate, or "sometime that night." Your account is kept with the time you gave it, private by default.
Your readings beside it. If you have a MUPAS instrument, or use your phone as one, the portal shows what it recorded around that moment, alongside the same instrument's typical range for that hour, so a change reads as a change and not as a guess.
The conditions at that moment. When you write an entry soon after it happened, from an instrument that knows where it is, the portal keeps what was in the sky and on the ground at the time: aircraft nearby, satellites overhead, earthquakes, and weather. No location is stored with it. Nothing is ruled in or out; it is shown, and you decide.
A comparison with what others have reported. Tell us what happened and a report comes back, usually by the next morning, comparing your answers with what other people have told us. It is not a diagnosis and does not claim to be.
People who have been there. Peer Support Specialists are experiencers themselves. Their training and their guidelines are stated on their profiles, and every profile is reviewed by a person before it is listed.
An assistant that only answers from records. Ask a question and it looks through MUPAS records and cites what it used. When it has nothing to go on, it says so, and that answer costs you nothing.
A community that knows what you mean. Message boards with other members, open ones and ones for people with the same kind of instrument in the same kind of place. Nothing of yours is visible unless you post it.

The instruments

Each one records. What it recorded is yours to look at.

MUPAS Mini — the desktop station. Records a wide range of environmental signals at home, around the clock, and sends them to the portal. $420
MUPAS EnviroDot — the same sensor suite in a field-capable unit, gamma built in. $260
MUPAS Biometric — the wearable. Records your body's signals alongside the environment, all day. $200
Your phone — running the MUPAS mobile portal, it records motion, magnetic field, air pressure, light and location. Standard readings on the free membership; Enhanced readings, several times as often, on a package.

A device you buy outright is yours with no term. With monitoring, its readings reach the portal and its history is kept; monitoring comes with a package, or by the device.

How this is run

What you write is kept without your name. Members know each other by screen name only.
Your instrument readings are yours. A public device is public because its owner chose that.
Location from the phone app is rounded before it is sent, and the privacy notice says by how much.
There are Community Guidelines, and everyone agrees to them.
The privacy notice and the terms say what is kept, for how long, and what you can delete. Read them before you join; they are short.

What it costs

Free membership costs nothing and never asks for a card. It includes your record, as many observations and memos as you like, cases, the community boards, your phone as a Standard sensor, the comparison report, 100 AI credits one time (about 10 questions), and one messaging day with a Peer Support Specialist, included.

Packages add an instrument, monitoring, monthly AI credits, and support time.
