Deleting your MUPAS account

This page explains what happens when you ask us to delete your MUPAS account, and how to ask. It applies to the MUPAS Worldwide portal and to the Mupas Mobile Portal app, both published by Experiencer Labs.

How to ask

You can ask in three ways. In the Mupas Mobile Portal app, open the account menu and choose Delete my account. In the portal, open the avatar menu and choose Delete my account. Or email support@mupas-worldwide.com from the address on your account - a person reads that mailbox and files the request for you.

We carry out a deletion request within 30 days. We will email you when the deletion has been carried out.

What is removed

Readings from the devices you own, and any location recorded with them, are removed from every system that shows them to you or answers questions from them.

Your account, your sign-in details and your contact details are deleted.

What is kept

An offline archive is kept for MUPAS's research records. It is not shown to anyone and is never used to answer questions.

What you wrote - memos, observations, cases and survey answers - stays in MUPAS's research records without your name and no longer linked to your account, and it continues to inform answers given to other members' questions. Identifying details are stripped from the text itself before it is stored.

Posts and comments you made on the boards stay visible, shown as from a former member.

Operational logs of commands sent to your devices are not part of the deletion.

Records of what you were charged and of the services you used - assistant credits and peer support time - are kept as MUPAS's financial records. They carry your member number, but not your name or contact details.

Your card details were never held by MUPAS; they are held by our payment provider, Stripe. A member of MUPAS staff removes your customer record at Stripe when the deletion is carried out - this step is not automatic. Stripe keeps its own records of past payments as the law requires.
